TEAM

Project Management and Lead Design

I've always been passionate about building teams, from running competitive clans to building direct sales teams, I enjoy the challenge of bringing out my teams potential using a variety of leadership management styles, and have adapted quickly to taking on Agile methodology for my game projects.

Very proud of my team:
Feel free to check out my Beast Slayers streams. Our team has won back to back  UK Pro League Tournaments in the Tactical and Strategic Divisions, and to this day is still a force to be reckoned with as we prepare ourselves for the World League 2021.

Our team has managed to adapt to new leadership methods, starting out as a very rigid group, and developing into a more flexible arrangement, where every member on the team is equally as skilled as the other.

Enter the Chinobi

During this project I worked on the level design, character models, animations, combat and movement system, as well as designing or collaborating on the core features, such as the Sushi Delivery, which selects random delivery destinations to promote exploration, the NPC Races path finding system, Health Bar, Dragon AI Behaviours and animations, Snorkel Mechanic, Dialogue System, Landmark Assets.

INMATE 35

This project was focused on asset creation, and level design.

I worked closely with the lead programmer in creating the core mechanics and special effects, while teaching the other students 3D modelling with Blender, and how to Level Design with Pro-builder.

This project gave me the opportunity to learn a thing or two about building shooting games, and was a great way for me to acquire some of the skills I need for the future games I wish to be creating.

Solar Installer

As the project manager, I was responsible for ensuring we met all criteria of the brief, and delivering a Serious Game that could be marketed towards Labour Hire recruitment offices.

To accomplish this I tapped into my own personal experience in  Commercial Solar, and bridged the technical skill gap of team members through collaboration, and leading by example.

I worked with the team on all aspects, both design and programming, I believe everyone did well in their final grades.

Ape 2 AI

This was a smaller side project collaborating with students from Animation and Audio.

We had many forms of media to choose from, but I managed to get the team interested in the idea of making their first video game.

For this project I was the only person familiar with Games Development, and needed to teach the other students about the design process, and some technical skills for creating Sprite Animations, and designing 2D background artwork.

I handled the implementation and programming for the game, and we all achieved high marks for our assignment.

Thalassorific

This project was a group collaboration for school, during this project I helped with creating 3D prop assets, modelling the Abyss environment, and a Substation which unfortunately wasn't released due to re-scoping, I also created the mini-map functionality, and taught one of the programmers how to create an IK Rigged VR Controller.
